Damn, damn. On my way to the post office on 42nd and 8th, I ran into this scene. A SUV jumped the curb and slammed into pedestrians. When I got there, I saw EMS attending to a woman. You can see them around her in a few of these pictures. Needless to say, simply mayhem. A lot of onlookers, choppers in the air, and cops running all over the place. Aint that something. Walking down the street and then...BAM! Keep yer eyes open.

Later in the day, a driver apparently suffered a heart attack and drove onto the sidewalk at 35th Street and 7th Avenue, striking at least eight pedestrians, WNBC.com reported.
