Gangsters Still Exist!

Gems taken in Italy tunnel heist
By Christian Fraser
BBC News, Rome

After several weeks of digging, the robbery was over in minutes
Thieves who dug an underground tunnel to a Milan showroom have stolen several million euros of jewellery.
Seven men dressed as police came through the cellar wall, tied up staff and made off with some of Damiani's most valuable pieces in minutes.

Before Sunday's real-life Italian Job, they had dug for several weeks from a building under construction next door.
Luckily for the showroom, some of its most valuable pieces were on display at the Oscars ceremony in Los Angeles.
Little trace
Undisturbed, the thieves dug a 3ft (1m) tunnel into the cellar of the jeweller's showroom.
The seven men, unarmed and unmasked, came through the wall as staff above them prepared the jewels for a celebrity Oscars party.
Tilda Swinton's Oscar bracelet was reportedly supplied by Damiani
The thieves tied the staff up with plastic cable and sticky tape.
They then locked everyone in the bathroom except the manager, who was taken to the safety deposit room and forced to empty the lockers.
It is reported that Damiani had supplied the diamond-studded bracelet worn by British actress Tilda Swinton, who took the Oscar for Best Supporting Actress at the Academy Awards ceremony on Sunday.
Although some of the showroom's jewellery was gracing the red carpet thousands of miles away, there was nonetheless plenty left in Milan.
The real value of the pieces stolen is not yet known as a list is still being compiled.
But it is thought to be millions of pounds worth of gold earrings, necklaces, bracelets and rings - all of them studded with diamonds.
Police say it was an extremely professional job and are working on a theory the gang may have had some inside knowledge.
The thieves made their escape through the same tunnel and police say very little trace was left.

Good Bye

Savager and Rgue

Last night was Tec's goodbye party. He is moving out to LA on Wednesday with no plans on coming back. When I asked him why he was living, he said he was tired on NY, and that quality of life was better on the otherside of the fence. I couldn't but help to agree with him. Best of luck out here and keep in touch. I b here.

Argentina Street Art

So here they are. I have been meaning to post these up a while ago, but it is only now that I've had the time to do so. These were all taken in December 2007 in Buenos Aires. I think they are pretty dope. Enjoy, these are the last set of flics I have of characters and little creatures. The rest are stencils, which will come out soon.

Close Call

Delancy and Christy-2006

This is another of my old 2006 flics. This was on Delancy on my way back to BK from work on bike. The picture does all the talking. Feet away from me, this truck driver opens the door on the livery and knocks his mirror. If both parties weren't so pissed off at each other, I would've taken flics of the argument. Truck's fault, fo sure. Had I left my job 20 seconds earlier, that would've been my face on the floor.

Old PICTURES Discovered

October 7th, 2006
Bushwick Ave and Meserole

I took a lot of pictures back in 2006 with my Razr of random sightings around New York. The Razr however, eventually went through a lot and the screen broke, preventing me from downloading the pics onto my computer. After a few days worth of tries, and with the help of Lucas, I was able to retreive them. You haven't seen nothing yet.

Mr. Lif and Akro!-Good ol' Days

Lif

Lif and Akro

Freddy Fox
High Line Ballroom, NYC 2-19-08

Tonight I went to go see Mr. Lif and Akrobatik thanks to my roommate's girlfriend, Zarha. She's known lif for a while so she got us in, and it was dope. It was the first hip hop show of mine since summer 07, and it was nice. I hadn't seen them guys in a long time, so it brought some boston memories back to the middle east. Don't know if I dig their new styles, but they played classics. To wrap things up, FREDDY FOX and DJ PREMIER came on. Again, classics. Overall, it brought back the small hip hop show atmosphere back. The bad part is, tickets were prob 20bucks AND buds were going for $7.

Don't Steal in BUSHWICK!

Sunday, Feb 17.
Broadway and Flushing, Bushwick

If you are thinking about coming to the hood and stealing from the 99 cent store-DON'T! You will have your picture taken with the things you tried to steal and PUBLICLY humilated by having it posted outside for everyone on Broadway to see. SHAME, SHAME, SHAME!
I apologize ahead of time for blowing this up.
It was Nick Z's hood secret, and I posted it.

Danger in Lower East Side!

Saturday night on my way to a bar in the "city" I came accross flames coming out of a dumpster. It was pretty exciting. Needless to say, I stayed there until the firemen came and watch them extinguish the fire. No one was hurt in this incident. Maybe I should come more often into the city on the weekends, seeing as this was the FIRST time in months that I ventured out of BK on a weekend.

No Shame in the Game

Sunday, Feb 11. E 2nd n Ave d -Associated
With all this hype on overweight children, its funny how brands continue to get their message out. It's like yeah, "We'll make you chubby, and we don't give a fuck!" Flavored sugar water kiiiids. Unless you want your kid to look like that, don’t do it.

Boston Cracks Loitering!

So thats what loitering looks like. On our visit to Boston this past weekend, we passed the bus stop on Mass Ave, in front to the Tower/Virgin/Best Buy store, the one with all the homeless always chilling on. Chilling no longer-that is. It looks like Boston PD has cracked down hard! It now seems waiting for the bus is no longer allowed. A least we now know what loitering as a crime looks like.

Nick Z Sleeps!

Fung Wah, Conneticut, February 2008

On the fung wah back from Boston, I was given the opportunity to ride next to Nick. What I thought would be four hours of in depth conversation turned into Nick sleeping against the window and me reading. Made for good flics though. Next time, next time.

From Bad to Worse

J Train
Delancy to Hewes

No disrespect to all those that park cars, but this add is a bit compelling. I would imagine that someone would want to change their life away from parking cars. And then I thought to myself who this add was targeting. Keep yer head up.
